Saturday 8th June saw us attend our first show of 2024, the Golden Valley Vintage & Country Fair.

The weather was dry which was a good start, if a little chilly for June and once we found our pitch we soon set about putting up the gazebo and setting out our wares.

   

This was the first time we had our pictures on show at the back of the gazebo and they proved to be a useful tall when talking to potential visitors to our club.

     

The show was a mixture of animals on show and demonstration.

   

Dog competitions and a very competitive tug of war competition, along with vintage cars and tractors.

The day was successful, if a little dusty,  with a number of sales and also a lot of interest in the club and enquiries from potential new members.

Our thanks go to all those who helped on the day, to Jan Bowen for her lovely cakes which kept us going throughout the day, and to those who donated items for us to sell.
