March saw the first of our more informal meetings with time to chat to other members and try your hand at new skills

.     

There was our display table showing many different items, types of wood and different finishes along with an ‘out of this world’ display from John Tetley.

   

We had Brian on the lathe discussing bowl turning and wood holding – see the finished bowl

David H  in the workshop helping you sharpen your tools and David B giving you the opportunity to try your hand at pyrography.

     

Also proving popular the the pantograph router with John where you were able to try your hand at sign writing.

We look forward to seeing you all at our next meeting on 27th April when Robert Till will be demonstrating turning wet and green wood.
