Our February Club night started with Bryan Milham ‘The Village Woodturner’ who is the AWGB Secretary presenting Paul Hannaby with an AWGB Lifetime Membership Award for his outstanding service to the AWGB

 

Bryan then turned his attention to turning making a long-stemmed goblet and in doing so demonstrating fine spindle and cross grain turning which can be seen in the photographs below.

 

   

  

           

The display table showed a variety of items for discussion which included thread chasing, spindle turning and bowl turning.
