November saw our last meeting of 2023, our AGM and social, with mince pies and apple pies as an extra treat.

It was also the last of this years competitions which was an item with colour or texturing for the novices and a recently completed item of their choice from our more experienced turners.

     

We saw a good selection of entries, the results are below;

As this was the final competition of 2023 a prize was awarded to the turner with the most points over all competitions, results are;

3rd   Peter Dixon, Ellis Saveker & Jon Tetley

 

Phil Kendall and Brian Ford were both presented with an Axminster Gift Card worth £20.00

I would like to thank all of the turners who entered items into the competition this year, as can be seen by the results every entry counts, with a tie for 2nd place in the Novices and a three-way tie for third place in the Intermediate and Experienced category.

Looking forward to seeing the entries for 2024.
