Leominster Victorian Market – December 2023

Saturday December 9th was our last show this year, the Leominster Victorian Market, this has always been a good show for us however this year due to the proposed road works it was changed from Corn Square to a number of various locations, we were on the first floor of Grange Court, a beautiful Grade 11 listed timber-framed market hall.

As usual the town put on a beautiful Christmas display, with a visit from Queen Victoria and her entourage along with an animated lion.

The day was mostly dry but cold, however for a change we were warm and dry, except for David Bowen who gallantly stood outside entertaining the children with our jumping jacks and guiding them, along with their parents inside to our display.

We had a constant stream of visitors, including returning customers who had specifically looked for our stand to make purchases, and later in the day the entertainment moved up to Grange Court and we were entertained by Morris dancers.

Once the dancing was finished they even found time to come inside and check out our stand.

Our thanks go again to all those who helped, and to those who made items for us to sell, without you we would not be able to attend these shows.

Whishing you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Looking forward to seeing you all at our first meeting on January 25th.
